Located in the former Rockheys Department Store, this friendly and spacious JD Wetherspoons has a long bar with 10 hand pumps serving 3 permanent beers and 7 changing local beers. Open for breakfasts from 8am with alcohol available from 9am.
A large tabled verandah at the front of the pub serves as a smoking area. There is a dedicated disabled toilet on the ground floor. A recent addition is the well stocked Bottle Shop serving a range of local beers and craft ales from around the world.
