Built in 1825, the Red Lion is located at the entrance to St Margarets-at-Cliffe.
Recently refurbished, the pub has the atmosphere and welcome of a typical English village pub.
The beer garden, situated at the rear of he pub, is open all year round and barbecues are held in summer.
Unfortunately, the owner has removed all food except the usual crisps and nuts.
Of particular interest is the James Bond-themed room in recognition of that parts of East Kent feature in Goldfinger.
Has Juke Box, television and a pool table (where the restaurant was).
