Recently redecorated and fully refurbished Georgian building standing on the 19th-century route of the A6, with four public rooms including a family room.
Outside there is a large beer garden and ample seating with a large car park.The recently built Lodge has been extended and attached fully to the pub and provides more seating and outdoor tv viewing for special events all year round. Eight cask ales are served, along with a large selection of gins, whiskies, fine wines and bubbles.
No longer serves meals, but bar snacks are available to fill the gap.

A four-roomed pub, still with much of its original layout and fittings. A rare feature is the split door hatch in the smoke room, complete with upper door. Old bar counters in the tap room and public bar and the former has screenwork up to the ceiling.
