This Pub is Permanently Closed

It was a popular country pub with a 40 seater restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Three miles from Stafford town centre,was very popular with trail walkers & cyclists and on a old rail line now a footpath & cycleway. It lost significant trade to a village members-only club which sold cheap beer and could not compete without the local trade it lost. Closed for conversion to a private dwelling.
