This Pub is Closed Long Term

The Red House is a Grade II Listed building presently closed with a change of use to residential granted on Appeal. The historic building is currently in a degree of worsening disrepair to the concern of many.

The owner has failed to invest as had been promised following permission to use of part of the land for housing and the building is deteriorating day by day with damp, rotting and broken windows and cracked rendering.

Whilst this is unacceptable, there are still nearby pubs in the town, all of which serve real ale.
