This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Radyr Court hasn't had an Indian restaurant upstairs for a few years [up to 2015]. Only the public bar is open. The rest of the pub has been closed for refurbishment for months now [in 2015], with reopening dates being announced and then postponed frequently. To my knowledge it has never served real ale.
Now [2016] fully open.
Historic Interest
Said to have been built late 14th century as either a fortified manor house or a court house, but this burnt down in the 19th century. The replacement building was converted to a pub in 1979 at the time the Danescourt estate was built around it.
