AUG 2024 - Appeal PPA-230-2491 decision by Scottish Reporter to grant permission for the flats as per app 23/06949/FUL.

APR 2024 - Appeal 24/00088/NONDET that decision is taking too long.

DEC 2023 - New planning app 23/06949/FUL for the erection of purpose-built student accommodation with commercial space at ground level.

SEP 2023 - Permission granted 7 Sep.

MAY 2022 - Planning app 22/02740/FUL submitted for 48 apartments and a ground floor commercial unit. This is revised version of previous one that was rejected.

MAY 2021 - Appeal also rejected. Site fenced off but vacant.

JAN 2021 - Revised planning app 20/02101/FUL for houses was rejected on grounds of overdevelopment.

JUN 2018 - The ground has been sold to Rutherford (Willowbrae) Ltd. a well know developer of care homes.

MAY 2018 - Pub has been demolished. No planning application found for this even though one is supposedly required for change of use in Scotland. It was done under a building warrant 17/04015/WARR. Maybe a new pub will be built on the site?

MAR 2017 - Story that maybe being sold for redevelopment.

WAS - Former roadhouse now a restaurant and lounge bar with pub to rear. The latter is a shrine to memorabilia and collectables. There are books to read, a piano to play and a TV to watch sport. The quiet lounge to the front has comfortable sofas.
