This Pub is Permanently Closed

Originally called the Queen's Hotel and later shortened to just Queens,this former Matthew Brown pub stood on the corner of Butler Street and Fishergate (just opposite the Old Vic). It closed in 1982 and was subsequently demolished with the site used for a retail development (Part of the Fishergate Centre).
