This recently restored ex-Shipstones pub is an absolute delight. It has a multi roomed interior which has no extraneous noise. It has an outside smoking area with its own fire. Inside it has two open fires and a log burner. Regular entrant in the GBG since it re-opened and winner of Erewash Valley Camra Pub of the Year in 2010, it offers five hand pulls. Winning East Midlands Cider Pub of the Year in 2010. The landlord is a supporter of local breweries, however he is always open to suggestions and offers a friendly welcome.
