Built in 1632 as two dwellings, the Queen’s Head has been a pub since 1831. It has open fires and a beer garden with fantastic views over the Brede Valley. Three changing ales and two ciders supplement three regular beers. Excellent, good-value home-made food is served daily. There are live music on Sunday afternoons and regular quizzes on Wednesdays, (ring for dates).
Longstanding landlords Ian and Lee retired in November 2025 and the pub is now run by Graham and Dan, who to date have made few changes to the pub or its offering.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (From Gun, Long Man, Rother Valley, Three Legs, 360 Degrees, Kent, Pig & Porter) and 2 regular beers.
