Re-opened November 2023 under new ownership of the Justice Family, who plan to return this corner bar to its former glory. Always known as a football pub, landlord Ian and Lorna Mitchell will be showing lots of live sport.

Attempts to serve real ale from the single handpull have proved challenging, with inadequate sales of the golden ales dispensed. No intention of continuing cask beer at present.
