Pub/Nightclub.
When Brains used to brew in St Mary Street, the brewery tap was called the Albert, with the brewery itself just behind. In 1999, the brewery moved to its present location and, on the former site, the "Brewery Quarter" was created. Centrepiece of the development is a rebuilt and expanded Albert now called the "Yard Bar and Kitchen". The pub extends over two floors and is industrial in style, a reminder of the site's industrial heritage.
In October 2022 the pub was reopened as 'Proud Mary' under new operators.
NO REAL ALE was found on a recent survey.
