A cosy backstreet pub with three handpumps no longer serving cask ales. Tastefully refurbished, and joins in with local events, including the Hastings Tap Takeover organised every October, and it has held its own Oktoberfest, including cask ales as well as beers from Munich.

Historic Interest

Previously owned by Shepherd Neame pub, which was closed by that company, but re-opened as a free house in November 2019, it closed again but reopened in Spring 2025.
