The Plough is a secluded 1830's pub within the woodlands of the Chiltern Hills. Being very close to Chequers (Prime ministers' weekend residence) you may even spot the current PM entertaining. Famous as the pub where David Cameron left his daughter. Unabashed, David Cameron famously brought the Chinese President to The Plough in October 2015 to enjoy a pint of Greene King IPA and a bar snack of fish and chips.
Bang on the route of The Ridgeway long distance path the pub is a favourite with walkers and those that want to sample the pub food.
It has pleasant beer gardens both to the front and rear of the building.
