Just 15 minutes walk from the town centre, the Pig & Whistle is a friendly community pub. Its large single room is divided into separate areas: The bar, a snug area with an open fire, and a pool table/TV area. The conservatory addition adds a further dimension, as does the enclosed beer garden. It's nice to see a juke box still in good use too. Recently taken on by a new enthusiastic team with lots of ideas for the future.
