Victorian railway hotel opposite the railway station. Modern interior, inviting visitors to have a drink and a meal. Facilities include a conference room, catering for private parties, and a terrace bar. Two Arkell's regulars plus an occasional seasonal one.

A superb station waiting room too, with a departure screen showing next departures and if any delays.
