A 15th century coaching inn, rebuilt in the 17th century after a fire and re-named as The Phoenix. It has an open plan layout with two distinct areas and outside seating. Open fire in the bar area. No food is served but customers are able, on request, to bring in food from the nearby takeaways. TV sports are shown and there is a monthly quiz night. but there are two public car parks nearby plus on street parking.
