After various incarnations and periods of closure this site is now Permit Room, an all-day bar-cafe operated by Dishoom. The food is Indian-style apart from the breakfast menu which is Anglo-Indian! Options include kids' portions and local home-delivery. The bar walls feature art from both local and South Asian artists.

Note that whilst the licence permits sale of alcohol from 8am, up to 10am sale of alcohol must be ancillary to meal consumption.
