Traditional, back-street, no-frills local, with a walled beer garden outside. Formerly a multi-roomed pub, it now has an open-plan bar area while retaining cosy nooks and crannies. A true community pub, it supports most pub games including long alley skittles. Breakfasts served Tuesday to Saturday 9am til 1pm.

Former residence of William Cotton, inventor of 'Cotton's Patent' knitting machine.
