Previously known as the Pack Horse, bought by Blue Monkey in 2012. The pub received a top to-bottom renovation, uncovering lots of interesting original features. The stable bar at the back, reflects the pub’s past life as a coaching inn.

Nine cask ales are always available as is a continually changing range of real ciders along with (usually) a real perry, as well as Belgian bottled beers. Bar snacks include an interesting range of pork pies.

Winner of Traditional and overall Branch Pub of the Year in 2023 - 2026.
