This Pub is Closed Long Term
July 2026 - from Bohem Brewery - We’re expanding the family! Say hello to the Packington Arms, our brand new pub landing in Islington later this year.
Same Bohem spirit you know from our beloved Taproom, our lovely local The Nicholas Nickleby and The Queen’s Arms Bohem — proper Czech beer meets classic British pub — but the Packington Arms will have its own character.
Camra looks forward to its opening.

11/04/25 - an application has been submitted for a premises licence whih if succesful suggests a licensed premises may come to pass. We will add the picture of the application.
Sept 2020 - The upstairs would indeed seem to have been converted. However, the ground floor and basement appear to be up for lease so in theory, this could make a return.
This was a fairly large street corner pub with a fine brown tiled exterior in a residential area off the beaten track. It had been an outlet for Shepherd Neame but it was put up for lease, reopened as a short-lived dive bar/live music venue, and finally closed when the tenant was evicted for non payment of rent. A premises license review was scheduled for March 2014. Shepherd Neame have given assurances that the pub will not reopen for at least three months and will not include a hostel. The ground floor windows and doors had been covered in steel sheeting. Passed the pub July 2014 and it's still closed with the shuttering in place. For some reason though, the pub's website is still live.
