This Pub is Permanently Closed

Converted 1/9/1998, site is now grocery / mini-mart type of shop.. Closed 1/9/1998. History: Former Groves & Whitnall house, later becoming Greenall's and finally before closure, selling Holts beers on a loan-tie arrangement. Gained a much-coveted Pub of the Month award for August 1998. Closed very soon after to become 'world foods' store.
