This Pub is Closed Long Term

Closed by Greene King in July 2025, the vacant premises was damaged in a suspected arson attack on 6/10/25. The roof and upper floors are badly affected, but the full extent of the damage has yet to be ascertained. Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Large rambling, almost Gothic-looking building on a busy road junction at the edge of town. It's not surprising therefore that it was once called the Cross Roads Inn. Currently describes itself as a Pub & Grill. Comfortably done out with several bar and restaurant areas, and American diner-style alcoves. There's a separate games/pool room, though the main emphasis during the year is on it's family-friendly facilities.

Food service my finish at 8pm if very quiet.
