Basically a quiet pub but as it is open plan can be rather loud when busy. Live music on occasion but only in the Beer garden. Dogs are welcome in the Beer Garden but not indoors.

Set at the foot of the Pennines on the A671 (Rochdale to Bacup Road) approx. 1.7 miles out of Rochdale centre The Oxford is a family owned and run pub. In addition to it’s excellent beers and food it is well known for it’s open fires in Winter and it’s large Beer Garden in Summer and it’s warm welcome all the year round.
