The Oxford is a well patronised stone-built pub standing on the A671 Rochdale to Burnley road. Internally the layout is open plan formed in two areas, namely dining and bar, although food is also available in the bar area. Good, fresh, well presented food is served daily, being cooked to order. The beer garden at the rear has an excellent view of the nearby moors. Four real ales are on sale, Wainwrights as a permanent beer, with other three changing, sourced from far and wide but mainly local.
The Oxford is noted all over the Rochdale area for it’s good Pub Food, it’s very well kept beers and the friendly reception extended to its Patrons. Dogs are not allowed in the main building but are welcome in the beer garden..
