Built in 1886 as the Marlborough Head, becoming the Dog & Trumpet in 1974, later a Firkin pub and since 2001 a deceptively large Irish (but not Oirish) pub, very handy for Regent Street. In particular, check out the stained-glass skylight above the eating area and the oak/tile mix on the floor. Otherwise the decor is fairly industrial. Sports shown on various screens, with muted sound normally.
Various keg beers on offer but no cask any more. Large food menu including burgers, pizzas, pub classics, and huge breakfasts for those that want one. Note that the licence does not permit alcohol sale before 10am.
