Situated in the famous waterfall country in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, this inn, built around 1600, has served as a coaching house, shop and a B&B before reverting to a pub in the early 1960s.

It has a cosy Public Bar to one side, with an extra alcove seating area with a beamed ceiling and wooden walling hidden behind a large fireplace, and a larger Lounge/Restaurant opposite. Popular with walkers, tourists and locals, it can get very busy at times (especially Sunday Lunchtimes, when booking is essential!) when walk-in drinkers may find a lack of room!

There is no step free access. The side entrance from the car park has one high wooden step, whilst the front door has two smaller steps/ledges. It's generally flat throughout, except for one small step between the lounge and toilet corridor. No separate accessible toilet, but the ladies toilet door also displays a disabled badge.
