The boundary of this 17th-century multi award winning town centre inn incorporates part of the medieval castle wall. The pub has a cosy front bar and a comfortable lounge, a separate restaurant and an airy conservatory, plus an enclosed beer garden. At least five well-kept beers are available including two guests from local micros, house beer Cummings and Goings from Mithril.
