Previously Winstons , now recently reopened after much refurbishment and with great emphasis on it's earlier function as a cinema. The bar is stylishly furnished and decorated and has a good display of old movie-star photos. There is a large room upstairs with a log-burner stove and access to balcony seating. Adjoining is a large , high-ceilinged function room which was the main body of the cinema and has a it's own bar. 2 real ales are usually on offer with the guest one coming from Dartmoor or Brains breweries. It is situated just outside the main town centre, very near to the Tramway, and is one block back from the sea front. It is family friendly, and dogs are welcome. It is open every day for lunches, snacks and evening meals.
