Originally Woodhead Farm, this converted and restored 400-year old building was used as a temperance hotel from the 1850's. There is one long room on three levels to the left of the entrance which contains the main bar and is suitable for those just wanting a drink and anyone also wanting a bar meal. To the right, a second, dog-free room is furnished for diners. The emphasis is primarily on home-made food and there is a varied menu to cover most tastes and appetites. Located on the edge of Baildon Moor and Shipley Glen, the pub is popular with visitors to the area and walkers are welcome. The bar (with capacity for 20 people), the dining room with capacity for 40 people) or the whole pub and gardens can be hired for functions. A steak meal deal is offered on Tuesday nights.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (Beer range varies) and 2 regular beers.
