Just a short distance from the main A4067 Swansea Valley road is this friendly and welcoming Pub and Restaurant on the edge of the village of Glais.
Inside the large building, there are three public rooms split into the Bar, a Lounge/Dining Room with another Dining Room in a rear extension, which also hosts an extensive and popular Sunday Carvery. Décor is a mix of panelled walls and beamed ceilings in the lounge mixed with a clean modern look throughout along with lots of comfortable seating.
Walk in visitors looking for just a drink are welcome. At the time of visiting (June 2024), on first impression, the bar appears only to serve keg & lager, this is because there were no Cask Handpumps on the bar. Instead they serve Cask Ale by gravity, straight out of a barrel in the cellar, usually from a local brewery. The pub is under new managers and they have plans to reinstall Cask handpumps soon.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
Old Glais Inn, Glais
Changing beers typically include: Gower (varies) , Mumbles - Lifesaver Strong Bitter
