A former club in a modern building offering a cosy retreat with sofas around the fire. A Royal British Legion memorial is in the prize-winning garden and local charities are well supported. The spacious conservatory serves for functions and meetings. Beers are from a range of independent brewers. Regular street food and live music are planned for the first weekend in the month. Quiz Wednesday from 8:30pm, Play your Cards Right for a cash jackpot straight after the quiz. Mirfield station is one mile away. New management as from July 2025. Two rotating ales, more likely at weekends according to demand, quality preferred over quantity, with dedication to increasing the real ale offering and passionate about supporting local independent brewers. Closing times may be brought forward on quiet nights. Brewery tap takeover weekends plans are planned for the future.
