Formerly known as Oddfellows Hall, this large listed pub has an impressive frontage, built in 1840, and comprises lounge, games and tap rooms. Vibration of the now gone railway led to the removal of the top two storeys. It comprises a public bar and lounge divided by a central bar with a games room to the rear. Pool and dominoes matches take place on Mondays and the pub is in the local league. Karaoke takes place on Friday and Saturday nights. At the time of survey in 2013, no real ale was being sold.
