THIS PUB IS NOW CLOSED AND USED BY A FUNERAL COMPANY.

A broad-based local, the open-plan lounge had wood and stone effect pillars. The good size tap room had its own bar. A tidy pub with a lot of corner seating. It closed and planning permission (ref. 11/03913/CLP) was granted in Nov 2011 to convert the premises for use as a funeral directors. This was subsequently completed. As confirmed by Google Earth imagery dated Sep 2022, the building is now under its new use (although the pub sign is still displayed outside!).
