Note that this very tidy pub is not in South Elmsall Town Centre but on hill above, top of Minsthorpe. This former mining area is fortunate to be served by this fine community pub. It has built up a loyal following for cask ale and often features a guest ale brewed in Yorkshire. Meals can be taken into the conservatory which offers spectacular panoramic views across the Elm Valley. Quiz nights are Sunday. Be sure to check which of the bus stops at the crossroads is the one you need for your return journey!
