A long single room bar, recently refurbished, on one of the town's main routes. Six handpulls dispense a variety of beers from Scottish breweries, including a Belhaven beer. One real ale is discounted Sunday to Tuesday and over 60s get a pensioners discount. The pub also hosts a very large selection of vodkas, gins, rums, whiskies and other spirits. Quiz night is on Thursday. The pool table and juke box are good value with the former being free on Wednesdays. The pool table is put away after 10pm at weekend evenings, as it becomes an entertainment-led bar into the early hours with a DJ on Friday and Saturday from 10pm.
