This Pub is Permanently Closed
1930s estate pub. The lively public bar is divided into two areas with TVs, jukebox, dartboard, pool table and internet access. Interesting framed poster on the wall detailing the history of inns and pubs in Stamford until 1978. A quieter room at the back has bar access, a restaurant area at one end and a snooker table at the other. Patio area and outside bar. Holds an annual summer beer festival. Currently (Sep 2015) boarded up and not expected to reopen. Still boarded up but unchanged Oct 2018.
