This Pub is Permanently Closed

A former Tetley Walker establishment dating from the 1960s, this friendly community pub retains many original features in both the comfortable lounge and tiled public bars. The excellent home-cooked food and weekly theme nights (live music, quiz, karaoke) attract a wide clientele. The pub has SkyTV, a pool table, and supports Darts and Dominoes teams. The pub has struggled over recent years but was re-opened in 2012 on a freehouse lease and is now a focal-point of the community.

Reported as being in the process of demolition April 2021.
