LOCAL CAMRA PUB OF THE YEAR 2023 and runner up 2024. The New Entertainer dates from the 19C, when it was called the Suffolk Hotel, (Because Gorleston was then in Suffolk). It is situated half way between the town centre and the beach. The entrance is at what appears to be the back. Surrounded by road on three sides, it has a unique rounded end, complete with Lacon's windows, a pool table, and seating, with big TV screen at the other end of the pub.
The up to eight guest beers frequently feature milds and stouts. Real Ciders are also on offer. The clientele is as varied as the beers.
Take care as you leave the cars come from both directions!
