Historic Interest
Pub built in the mid 1930s as part of the Ilchester Square flats following the demolition of the Dock Cottages and a pub of the same name. A Higsons pub who owned the corner site and the flats above. Survived the demolition of the rest of the Ilchester Square flats. Described in 1990 as a two bar pub with live music at weekends, serving Higsons Mild and Bitter by handpump. Continued to trade through then 1990s the closed and demolished.
