This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Pub was closed for a time and reopened early 2014 as the New Cross Private Members Club after the Nevilles Cross Working Mens Club closed. Real ale available May 2016. Entry is by key fob or door bell. Guests & CAMRA members are welcome and would be invited to join club after a few visits. There is a roomy bar/lounge which leads through and arch to a second room with a pool table and used for dominoes. A third small room contains a dart board and is used for meetings for example by the local Panther motorbike club. There is an enclosed yard mainly used for smokers. Up to 2 real ales are available, often from Marstons or Durham. The club tends not to open on a Tuesday or Thursday if the darts and dominoes teams are playing away. Closed and freehold for sale.
