Historic Interest

Dating back before 1753 as the Three Pigeon, then the George and Three Pigeons and became known as the George Inn by 1779, listed in Cowdray's Directory of 1789. The pub was enlarged in 1818 and changed name to the Mostyn Arms by 1819. Listed in Pigot's Directory of 1822-23 and 1828-29 and Bagshaw's Directory of 1850. Closed in 1854 when the building became part of Mostyn House School
