Moody Blue is a large corner pub at the heart of Rochdale centre near the bus station and across from the central tram stop. Once through the outer door, you pass through an impresive set of stained glass doors and then into the pub itself.. On the left is a small room with tables, a fireplace and a small TV screen, showing Sky Sports. Then you are at the main bar, which has two handpulls and a selection of other drinks. It has two other larger TV's showing sports, often showing matches featuring Rochdale AFC. Initially serving two beers from the Timothy Taylor range, however the pub is an independent and other breweries will feature once established.. The pub intends to offer food and indicates that the menu will be British and feature Pies and steaks. The pub offers a discount to CAMRA members of 20p pint on real ales.
