The Moody Blue is a large corner building at the heart of Rochdale. Once through the outer door, you pass through an impresive set of stained glass doors and then into the pub itself.

On the left is a small room with tables, a fireplace and a small relatively small TV screen, showing Sky Sports. Further in you are at the main bar, which has two handpulls and a selection of lesser drinks. It features another larger TV. Further on, another narrow room contains more tables.

Initially serving two beers from the Timothy Taylor range, however the pub is an independent and other breweries will feature once established.

The pub intends to offer food and indicates that the menu will be British and feature Pies and steaks.-
