Very popular traditional community local within a residential area. It comprises two rooms, a comfortably furnished lounge to the left of the entrance and a games room to the right, divided by a central bar. Up to four real ales are offered, split between the two rooms, and covering a range of styles with usually at least one from a local brewery. A beer garden is located off the lounge. There is a regular and local clientele. A well-used community board is provided in the lounge. A Wednesday night quiz is held from 9.30pm.
