This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Large restaurant with letting rooms and bar

A large, white weatherboarded building that is part of the Miller & Carter chain and has 12 bedrooms. Built in Napoleonic times and formerly the Officers' Quarters of the Invicta Barracks across the road. Various different size areas can accommodate both small and large groups. The menu is available all day. Now running as a steak house and not a pub as meals must be purchased in order to get a drink.
