History: Very large former Wilsons roadhouse, it sold plenty of cask Wilsons Bitter. Trade declined in the early 2000s, the cask disappeared, and ineviitably it closed.
Historic Interest
Former Wilsons house. In 1949 became a Wilsons Brewery house following merger with Walker & Homfray's Brewery, originally was a Manchester Brewery Co house, the Midway Hotel.
