A club with a public bar

Although a club, the bar is open to the public. An access road to the clubhouse is located just inside of the entrance to Merrist Wood College and before the college gates. The bar is in a spacious lounge at the rear of the clubhouse and breakfast and beer are served from 7am. Outdoor seating gives a closer view of play under way. Fore!

Historic Interest

Between the 15 and 16th hole is the site and memorial to a WW2 bomber shot down in 1941. A plaque in the bar gives fuller details.
