This Pub is Closed Long Term
Magnificent brick built, solid, detached, Victorian Sam Smiths pub of 1899, the interior is also a magnificent example of a Victorian multiroom pub, although sympathetically decorated. To the left on entering the tiled hallway is the main bar room, to the right a sitting room which is like a domestic sitting room equipped with pub furniture. Behind is another bar room and beyond that a small sitting room with darts board. Open fires in both main rooms, the furnishing and décor is very traditional with some splendid photographs of old Knaresborough and the River Nidd and its gorge.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
Marquis of Granby Inn, Knaresborough
