Historic Interest

Pub dating back to at least 1850, a Birkenhead Brewery pub in what was believed to be two fisherman's cottages. Described in 1980 as a small basic local opposite the bus terminus (and Mersey Ferry) serving Whitbread Special Cask Bitter by handpump. Closed December 1991 and demolished.
