This Pub is Closed Long Term

A large family-friendly Wetherspoon pub located near the centre of the town. The building was previously used as a cinema and bingo hall, and is built on the site of old maltings. It consists of an L-shaped drinking area with an external patio reached via a flight of steps. There are 11 real ales including the usual Wetherspoon regulars and sometimes beers from local breweries. Food is served all day.

Although the pub does not have a car park, there is plenty of parking close by.
