This Pub is Permanently Closed
Sited next to a busy roundabout the outside appearance of this Inter-war pub bears more than a passing resemblance to a 1930s redbrick Post Office. Typically the former two bars have become one but the interior is surprisingly well-appointed and up-market for the area, with new stained glass panels illustrating the mallcoach theme. Unusually, the pub is a genuine "inn" offering residential accommodation. It Is adjacent to one of the few surviving buildings which were once part of the pre-World War 1 "White City" exhibition site.
